The Power of our Words

1 Timothy 2 :1-6

1I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—

2for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

3This is good, and pleases God our Savior,

4who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

5For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

6who gave himself as a ransom for all men—the testimony given in its proper time.

1 Timothy 2: 1-6 Sums up the Lord's direction making it very clear ! We need to understand the power constant communication is to the Lord!! It is vital! So vital our order of living should be breathing and health, then seeking the face of God for everyday living! We Must understand that words make or destroy the world around us! In Genesis 1 the Lord spoke for 6 days and for 6 days the world we live in was created from start to finish! In Isaiah 55 the Lord states that his word must accomplish what he sends it out to do! In Matthew he states very powerful words! (Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass). Luke reminds us of how powerful or an affect a small word can do! Words create the atmosphere around you!! (Luke 17:6 He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.). That's why we need to guard our words, watch what we say ,because you will have what you say!! Even in prayer, when we pray our words should be directed to the heart of God, wanting the Lord's direction, wanting the Lords word, wanting the Lords provision for our life! We want him to welcome our words, welcome our praises welcome our worship. Knowing that every word is pure and holy before him! Jesus paid the ultimate ransom so that humanity could have open communication with God the Father! That Abba our father could love, adore and commune with his creation always and forever because of Jesus Christ! Now because of Jesus our request, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings are always before the Lord God himself! Salvation is always given to those who are willing to receive it and a open relationship is there to those who are willing to invest their time! Most of all today, communicate with the Lord and watch what he will do in return for you!
