5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
As I sit and listen to the message God is speaking to me here, I feel shamefully selfish each moment I think of questioning why?
I examine my life and think, of the words God breathed to remind evermore that I had been specially designed since I was in my mother womb
Psalm 139:13
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
But yet as my life drifts across the rough waters I look to you high above the darken skies searching for anything that can assure me that you are still here..
Psalm 5:3
In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.
For me each day starts to look more beautiful but only if I grip to the vision of being in your arms. Once I let go of truth even for a brief second I find myself becoming victim of life's vicious windstorms, twinding my every thought, seeking for shelter once again as the end looks bleak you reach out and draw me back in...
Its your love that keeps me from the emptiness of life.. I fear only what life could have been had I not heard your call.
John 10:4
When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.
The sinful nature we have been born with at times can make situations seem impossible to grasp onto the truth of all that The Lord truly has in store for us. But with each moment that has passed I can remind myself of what it was I was born with and what it is I have seen beloveds pass with
Ecclesiastes 5:15
Naked a man comes from his mother's womb, and as he comes, so he departs. He takes nothing from his labor that he can carry in his hand.
I wake some days and feel an overflow of uncertainty of what I have been trained since birth to believe are blessing in this life, but then the Lord lays heavily on my heart with reminders of His true Blessings
Ephesians 1:3
[ Spiritual Blessings in Christ ] Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
I have learned many things in humility but why should we stray from what God Himself could do for us in order to prove His love and faithfulness by taking shape of humankind and being most humble in order to allow His children to be saved from a world of sin and a destiny in death set by the law...
He became a state of nothingness and as he planned out the paths step by step He showed the lengths of His love. He refused the many attempts of Satan along the way setting the example that it can be done in flesh by seeking God first always, He then in the final hour showed in a mortal man how easy it was to fall astray to the sinful natures we had been born with..
John 13:26-28 (New International Version)
26Jesus answered, "It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish." Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, son of Simon. 27As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him.
"What you are about to do, do quickly," Jesus told him, 28but no one at the meal understood why Jesus said this to him.
Even in His death it was The Lords chosen steps that will'd salvation..
God is God there is no why...
We were born to want to know, to plan to avoid and to find pleasures in our lives..
It seems pretty clear to me even we ask why, we will not get the answer we so eagerly want at that very moment.. But in Gods time He will reveal to us His plan.. It is our attitudes and our trust in Him that will enable us to make each day new in Him. It is only knowing and accepting that He is all knowing that we are merely human nothingness, walking humbly with each weakness revealed as the blood of Christ washes us clean from the sinful nature of wanting to be equal to God in the all knowing..
Ever ask yourself what is the reason to know Why?
Can we just be ok with what is written?
Will we ever be comfortable in complete surrender?
Im learning it is the Why's that create room for separation, it is the ability to be overwhelmed by the planned devastation of our lives that place us in what we believe to be forgotten instead what He is making is opportunity for us to just lay our selves at the cross and press deeper into Him... Fear not the world, God is with us!
To know why will not change the out come. To know why will not illuminate the pain but to be "ok" will allow God to use us as it was written to bring joy, peace, kindness, patience, Love to others no matter what we are facing.. God is here, He has not left us most importantly He has lived and overcame the ultimate sufferings! He has shown us His humility in nothingness walking in persecution in form of man, He has shown us personal sacrifice in order to show unconditional love even for the lowest of sinners. He tells us we are forgiven and that we CAN walk in His love and live a life of greatness in only Him. He showed us How it was possible through prayer and trust, honor and suffering.. We were not born from previous generations to experience paradise on earth, we were born to prepare for paradise after death in heaven!
Don't try to understand why, just be willing with ok!
