In the book of proverbs it talks about three problem people. Mockers, fools and the simple. These words are used to describe the bad characters we should avoid. Here's a description of each one.
~Proverbs 1:22~ "How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mocker delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?"
~Proverbs 1:26~ " I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you."
- The "Simple"; are the least harmful group; they live without thinking and are too lazy to change.
- The "Fools"; have more smarts but have made a conscious decision to live by their own lights, independent of God and independent of good advice.
- The "Mockers"; worst of all, are rebels against God who make their prideful position known to everyone. They mock God, but God will mock them in the end.
~Proverbs 1:22~ "How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mocker delight in mockery and fools hate knowledge?"
~Proverbs 1:26~ " I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you."
