Let Your Wisdom Be Pure in Word and Presentation

Happy Wednesday friends! I pray that you all are advancing and moving forward in your God given destiny this week as there is NO better place to be.

Today I want us to consider prayerfully, the methods of Jesus Christ. When we read how Jesus operated it was always pure. He never had to use illustrations that might throw His followers back into "flashback mode." He didn't use the word Hell, the way some are choosing to use it. I know this is 2011 right?!?! What's your point? When we try to use ungodly means to get a Godly end it's not edifying to the LORD. I read that a Pastor in California uses worldy songs and movies in California to teach from. I saw a T-shirt that spoke about forgiveness but was so offensive to me as a CHRISTian, that I can't even utter it up here. Let's look at God's word.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Teach people and evangelize people God's way in purity. People have been getting set free and Saved ALL these thousands of years through the pure WORD of GOD, let's keep it that way. Pray and ask God to help your wisdom and ways stay pure personally, and let us pray for all our Leaders too,so that they won't get caught up in presenting the Gospel in a contaminated way either.

Super Natural Power in the WORD

1 Thess.2:13

And we also [especially] thank God continually for this, that when you received the message of God [which you heard] from us, you welcomed it not as the word of [mere] men, but as it truly is, the Word of God, which is effectually at work in you who believe [[c]exercising its superhuman power in those who adhere to and trust in and rely on it].

The words of men no matter how eloquent or majestic sounding, are frail in comparison to the Word of God. GOD'S WORD is super natural, sure, and it endures forever. The Word of God....just stay there for a minute this is a Selah moment! WOW!!! GOD'S WORD!!!!!
We have the Word in us and before us and it is sheer POWER from on high. God's Word we receive it from man, but make no mistake it has been God inspired and God breathed. GOD HIMSELF watches over His Word to perform it and God's Word accomplishes all that He wills in the lives of those who BELIEVE. However we will never experience this "superhuman power" at work in us via the Word IF we don't have faith. To those who adhere to, trust in, and rely on IT they receive the promises and the manifestion of miracles. BELIEVERS that's what we do, that's who we are. Whatever you may be going through dear ones put the Word in you and on the situation and BELIEVE. There IS super natural power available!!! Access it through your faith, your praise, your worship. Tell God you believe His Word and thank Him in advance for the power of it working in you and your situation. All Hell may be camped out in front of your house, or job but don't be distracted and don't fear. You have all the power you need to come through victoriously just keep reading and meditating on it and give Him some PRAISE!!!

God's Math Pt 2

2 Peter 1:5-8 (New King James Version)

5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The instructions listed here are AWESOME as well as NEEDFUL!!! In the kingdom there can be no slothful or overly satisfied saints. We MUST be diligent, make haste, be eager, and earnest in ALL that we do especially where our Christian growth and fruitfulness is concerned. Isn't it something that we can be diligent in so many areas like our job, school, entertainment, and recreation but sometimes when it comes to being diligent in our relationship with God, or the things of God sometimes we just kind of skip through the daisies instead of running hard after Him and for Him. Here God is saying ADD--Adding is always a good thing. ADD to your faith virtue- valor or manliness we need to be courageous and gracious. Next He says add knowledge. Knowledge of God, His will, His ways, His likes, His dislikes and then self control. Oh that's a great ingredient to add right there! One I have made it my business to stay on top of. Last year I decided to watch what I say and watch what I eat. Can I tell you that you definitely need self control for both!LOL!!! Sometimes I want to tell it like it TIS! Sometimes I want to stuff my face with cupcakes. SOMETIMES I DO. Then I have to repent, get it right with whomever, and keep on ADDING self control to my faith. Next perseverance which here means endurance. There is no prize for the quitter..period. Keep adding it... nuff said!!! Next holiness and brotherly kindness. Reminds me that without holiness and peace with all men no man shall enter the kingdom. This brotherly kindness is love for the brethren, are you adding that? It's important because we are family. If we cannot get along down here why would God let us into Heaven and act a fool??? HE WON'T! Lastly love- agape a LOVE FEAST. There are some people in my life who when I get around them it's just a love feast. There is laughter and smiles, hugs and genuine love flowing.....that is how it should be in the Body, even with all the diverse personalities LOVE should be the mark that identifies us to one another and the world too. By adding these things we will be fruitful in the knowledge and will of our LORD Jesus Christ which will help us make our way prosperous, and successful in His eyes...God's ADDITION always leads us to a better life so keep it up (-:

God's Math Pt 1

2 Peter 1:1-8 (New Living Translation) 1 This letter is from Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ. I am writing to you who share the same precious faith we have. This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior. 2 May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. 3 By His divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know Him, the One who called us to Himself by means of His marvelous glory and excellence. 4 And because of His glory and excellence, He has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share His divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires. 5 In view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. I don't know about you but MORE is a great word!!! Especially when you are talking to me about the things of GOD! The faith we have came by way of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, see I can dance on that one alone RIGHT THERE!!!! Next God is saying that MORE of His grace and peace will be multiplied and given to us as we grow in our knowledge. Our knowledge of what, or in this case who? God the Father and His Son our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.HALLELUJAH!!!! Then He goes onto tell us that He called US!! Aren't you thankful!!! Then Peter tells us that ALL things that peratin to life and godliness have been given to us by His divine power!!! ALL means ALL. How do we access this ALL again through the knowledge of GOD!!! If we don't what we have been given we surely will not be able to enjoy it. Saints of God we have been given EXCEEDINGLY GREAT and PREICIOUS promises by God but we are going to have to pray, fast, and study to get them ALL. I'm thankful that through God's divine power we have now have access to not only the promises but also to God's divine nature. Just think about that. God's divine nature includes a lot of things, love, mercy, joy, grace, peace, longsuffering, forgiveness, justice my oh my!!! As we read again about God's divine power His divine nature has caused us to and continues to cause us to escape the corruption that is in the world through lust. Glory to God!!! Truly God says in Joshua 1:8 meditate day and night on God's Word for then you will make your way prosperous and successful! Here God is saying you will have things added and multiplied to you as you grow in the knowledge of Him and His Son....does it get any better than that???? No........it really doesn't (-:

Get the Doubt Out

Mark 6:1-6 And He went out from thence and came into His own country, and His disciples followed Him. 2And when the Sabbath day had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, "From whence hath this man these things? And what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? 3Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James and Joses, and of Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?" And they were offended at Him. 4But Jesus said unto them, "A prophet is not without honor, save in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house." 5And He could do no mighty works there, except that He laid His hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. 6And He marveled because of their unbelief. And He went round about the villages teaching. He could no mighty works there except He laid His hands on a few sick folk...WOW!!! I wonder how many demon afflicted people there were in Nazareth or how many children needed the faith of their parents to help get them healed. Like the paralyzed man's four faith friends, whose faith in Jesus and love for their friend made them tear a hole in the roof to get their friend to Jesus!! It's real good to have people like that in your life. A few...the Son of God could only heal a few when He desired to do all He could for the many. That was His way, always giving. So now among His own creation who also happen to be His neighbors, we discover that some could not get there eyes off the fact that although He grew up around them, He now manifested the power and wisdom of God. A power of wisdom to not only teach them mighty things, but also to do mighty things FOR THEM. So then it says He marveled because of their unbelief. What do you need from the Son of God today? Do you have the faith to receive from His heart and hand those promises, or have you let the parasites of unbelief come in and begin to attempt to dismantle your faith. Well may I encourage you all, it's time to get the DOUBT OUT!!! Time to ask God to expose those areas that we have allowed to be infested and get the DOUBT OUT!!! Time to marvel at our own unbelief, in the same way that Jesus marveled. He didn't shrug His shoulders and just brush it off no, He MARVELED and couldn't do much because of that creepy crawler called unbelief. Saints of God we have much to do in these last days, and WE NEED JESUS. We need to have faith in His Word, faith in the resurrection power of God residing on the inside of us through our LORD Jesus Christ. NOW is the time to feed your faith and starve your doubts to death. NOW is the time for us to believe, believe, believe!!!! It's hard to do that if you are not spending time with Him in prayer and fasting, it's impossible to do without spending time living and abiding in His WORD. Man SHALL NOT LIVE by bread alone, but by every WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of GOD!!! I don't know about you, but I NEED God to do some mighty works for me and through me for HIM. Let's get the doubt out and build up that measure of faith given to us so that GOD can show Himself mighty to us and through us. May Jesus marvel because of our faith from this day forward and not at our unbelief (-:

When God Marvels

And He went round about the villages teaching. Mark 6:1-6 So here we have God the Son our LORD, going into His own home town, teaching and wanting to be a great blessing. Here is God the Son wanting to teach the Kingdom, wanting to heal, and do mighty works among His neighbors. Sadly because God the Son is moving in their midst, some folks are getting offended. They can't figure out how Mary's Son is able to move like that...and dare I say maybe they were wondering why they can't, but He can!!! Truly, offense breeds many evils. This next statement is very sobering. God the Son marveled at their unbelief. There are many things I want God the Son to marvel at in my life. I want Him to marvel at my love and devotion for Him first, then my family and my friends. I want Him to marvel at my faith when some of my unborn, yet conceived dreams lay in the womb of my spirit lifeless. I want Him to marvel at the fact that I continue to prepare for their birth, instead of planning for their funeral. I do not want God the Son to marvel about some area of unbelief in my life. Doesn't that just make you pause. That statement make us look at ourselves, and scan our hearts for any "parasites" of doubt in GOD. Maybe there is a circumstance that is just screaming, "Where is your God?" Maybe there are people in your life who have told you constantly that you will not, or cannot do this or that, but GOD clearly told you that you will . Unbelief is a parasite. It's always looking for places in our lives, in our thoughts, to take up residence and settle in. Once it's found a "host" it can dig in and begin it's diabolical assignment of trying to destroy our faith in God, and even the God given faith we have in ourselves through Him. Next week part 2, Get the Doubt OUT!

Feelings,Nothing More Than Feelings

As CHRISTians it is vitally important for us to be lead by the WORD and not by our FEELINGS. Ooohhh but they can make us feel soooo good,can't they? YES THEY CAN! Here is the thing though, they are unreliable and fleeting. Feelings are just that FEELINGS and we should never put them before the WORD of GOD.
EVERYTHING we do and say should always be rooted and grounded in GOD'S WORD and in GOD'S WILL. If you want to know who's LORD, Jesus or your feelings just look at how many times you have missed Him because of....FEELINGS. WE are more likely to make bad decisions when we move out on our feelings instead of the WORD of GOD. Now feelings aren't bad though they are helpful, but we should only yield to them when they are lining up GOD'S WORD and when they help us to fulfil GOD'S WILL. Think about Jesus in the garden before His arrest. He was not FEELING like going to Cross. Did His love for us change at that moment, no I don't believe that it did. I believe that maybe He didn't want to be seperated from the Father like He knew He would be for a period of time. Maybe He would miss His disciples. I'm not really sure why Jesus said what He did but I'm thankful that He moved past His feelings and chose to obey God.....a move that we will benefit from throughout all eternity. Hallelujah!!! I believe God the Father shared that moving piece of information with us because He wants us to recognize that it is totally possible to OBEY and DO HARD THINGS whether our feelings or flesh wants to our not. Therein lies true victory!!! This week when you are faced with hard decisions and circumstances please don't rely on or lean upon your feelings, but instead lean on the WORD of GOD and OBEY Him. Remember feelings are fickle, but the WORD and WAYS of GOD are sure and will bring forth HIS intended results every time.(-:

Crying While You Run

One verse to one of my favorite songs says, sometimes you may have to cry...
and sometimes you may have to walk all alone.

How true. As we run our race there are times where we cry, and times when we find ourselves having to do this thing alone. I have found that although I love people, love to be around them, just love them period there are seasons where God just wants you alone. There are times when pruning takes place and you have to let Him cut some people out of your life, not because they are enemies just because He needs them to go. They are still our brothers and sisters but God knows what is best. Isolation will make you cry sometimes, and that's ok because when there are no other voices telling you what to do, telling you what they think, it's just you and God and guess what He may bring more people into your life and He may not. We've got to be ok with whatver He does because we have a race to finish, and to finish strong it has to be us and Him. It can be no other way when He has you alone. That's ok, just keep running tears and all because Jesus is right there with you running and cheering you on and for every step you run your roots are going deeper in Him and that's what He wants. Some of us can't abide richly in Him and His Word because we would rather have little gods in the flesh instead of GOD Himself. Or maybe the distractions of this life are taking away your divine opportunities to run harder and faster with Him. Whatever it is get rid of it, let Him get rid of it you may have to cry sometimes but you will be better in the long run and the other verse of that song says it will work out for the good of them who love the LORD (-:

Water for Your Race Pt 2

Ephesians 5:25-27 (21st Century King James Version)

Husbands, love your wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it,that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word,
that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.


This is a beautiful verse of instruction to husbands and to the rest of us it's also valuable because it shows how Christ gave Himself for the church, and how he sanctifies and cleanses us by the washing of water by the Word. As we run this race the contaminants of this world get on us. Different shows, music, associations, movies, books, magazines and conversations all have the ability to get us "dirty."
Jesus said that He is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. He says that we should be holy and without blemish. The Word washes away all the filth off us for sure, and it's necessary to read the Bible daily because no matter what-- we get exposed to dirt daily. Whether we expose ourselves through disobedience or just happen to be sitting next to somebody who is just gossiping away we get dirty. God knew that and that's why He gave us His Word and His Spirit! Both will keep us nice and clean as we start each day and finish each day with a good washing. Getting dirty is unavoidable---cleaning ourselves daily CRITICAL!!! (-:

Water for Your Race Pt 1

The Benefits of Water...

Health and fitness professionals and partcipants always say drink lots of water. It flushes us out and keeps our organs healthy. Water is also good to drink right before a meal. As you drink a glass or two you are less likely to over eat and it helps in the digestion of the food you are about to eat. In the Bible the Holy Spirit is symbolized at times by water. He the Holy Spirit guides us into ALL truth.John 14:26
The truth is the truth no matter how we take it in so, we need to make sure first of all that we are spending time with God daily in prayer and His Word so we can hear His voice. We are God's temple and just like God wants and needs us to take care of this temple, praying in the Spirit builds us up inwardly in our most holy faith. Jude 1:20 --In addition, there have been studies done by doctors that show praying in the Spirit does some marvelous things in our brains.
The Holy Spirit will also help us to avoid the "junk food" of this life too as we fill up on Him. As ambassadors and athletes we can't run off of twinkies! The Holy Spirit will help us to watch what we eat, think, drink, observe,listen to, react to, act, and on and on. You will find that the more time you spend with God, and praying in the Holy Spirit your appetite towards fleshly or carnal desires will begin to decrease. As we run OUR race other people sometimes kick dirt on us as they run, situations and circumstances have the same ability, not to mention we dirty ourselves from time to time to. Join us next week as we run together learning how to keep the filth of life off us daily as we run!!! (-:

Trembling While you RUN!

Isaiah 66:1-3 (King James Version)

Isaiah 66:2

2For all those things hath Mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word.

There are times that as we are running our own race we get down, we may feel dejected and even defeated but GOD wants us to know today that He is looking at us.
The word "poor" in the Hebrew means depressed in mind or circumstances, humble, lowly, needy, poor. The word contrite means smitten.maimed, dejected, or lame. Is that where you are today? Well God wants us to know that we just need to keep running and while we are running we need to continue to "tremble" at His Word. Meaning we need to reverence His Word and be in awe of it continually even when things are going great. When we reverence His Word we learn to come under it in obedience no matter what is going on. We learn to look at the situation and say although it doesn't look good in the natural I will uplift the Father's Word, trust and apply it. We all have times where we get pressed down by circumstances and God is watching us, He sent His Word to help and heal us in our lameness. Rejoice today knowing that God knows and He cares. Stay humble no matter what you are going through, dig into God's Word and take refuge in it. Use your tongue to bless God when life is pressing you, tell GOD how much you appreciate Him and His Word. Tell GOD how much you are hurting and how much you are depending on Him to see you through...and He will (-:

Obeying +Walking = Wellness

Jeremiah 7:23-28 (New American Standard Bible)

23"But this is what I commanded them, saying, 'Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you.'

24"Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward.

God started this year talking about walking, running, etc...and there is more to be said about those things but it is very hard to run your race and fight the good fight of faith if you and I are not first obedient. I posed the question last week. How many areas will God allow us to disobey Him before He corrects us or allows us to backslide or worse become reprobate?! Like you, I'm not willing to find that out. This is why a relationship with God is so vital. When we spend time with Him, He speaks to us. When we spend time in His Word--He speaks to us and we learn His voice. That's a relationship it's two sided. Whether God talks to us in our spirit or through His Word we are communicating with each other. He says, Obey my voice and I will be your God. So what happens to that standing when we disobey Him? Who is our God then? We are! Uh oh... Ok so then we repent and cry out for help and God says now walk in the way that I command you. Not in the way your feelings tell you to walk, your momma, or your best friend no! Walk in my ways, though they may appear strange and cause all kinds of internal conflict walk in my ways. Why? That it may be WELL WITH YOU! God is saying I created you and I have put spiritual laws into place, you will never be consistently successful with Me or in life doing things YOUR WAY! It has to be MY WAY. Can I tell you that there will be no rebels in Heaven, and the ones that get in with satan at his last attempt to act crazy will join him forever in the Lake of Fire....period. No we can't afford to be rebels or mavericks doing what we want, we have to obey Him and do things His way. When we obey Him we are promised wellness as we walk. Is it well with your soul? If not go back to the last command the LORD gave you and obey (-:

Is Jesus Really Lord of Everything in Your Life?

Luke 6:46 (Amplified Bible)

46Why do you call Me, Lord, Lord, and do not [practice] what I tell you? The greek word for Lord in this verse is kurious. One meaning says, supreme in authority. The dictionary breaks it down this way:
Lord- One having power and authority over others: a ruler by hereditary right or preeminence to whom service and obedience are due: an owner of land or other real property: the male head of a household, husband: one that has achieved mastery or that exercises leadership or great power in some area.
Jesus is Lord, and He is Lord whether we obey Him or not. He is Lord whether we agree with Him or not. He is Lord because that is the title given to Him by the Father, that IS Who He is. As Lord and Master, He has every right to make demands of us. But He has also given us the right to choose His way or our way. The sad part is the longer we disobey Him in anything the harder we get in that area, and then GOD has to bring out His belt and then it's off to the shed!!!
So here is some food for thought. If we are resisting His will in any given area then we are not practicing His will in that area consistently right? So then if we are not practicing what He's telling us on a regular and consistent basis then have we dethroned Him in that area? How many areas can we be disobedient to Him in or self willed, before we end up in a backslidden state or worse a reprobate? I can't answer that. Only God knows how much or how little He's going to put up with. One thing I do know, our relationship with Him is too precious to jeopardize and so are our souls.
My advice. Stay in the Word, Stay Tender, Repent Quickly, and Obey Instantly. I remember one night driving home and the LORD saying to me Marva stop at the train tracks. It was 5am and I was tired and I wanted to get home, so I kept going. Then Jesus said it again but this time He shouted STOP!!!! I came to a stop instantly and as I did, without any warning a train zoomed past me. I sat there both shook and thankful that Jesus didn't tell me one time only and leave me to suffer the consequences, He very well could have if He wanted to because as LORD- He can do whatever, whenever, and however. I'm so thankful that He told me again and I listened. What is God requiring of you dear one? Let Jesus be LORD, obey Him in that thing(s)and reap the freedom and rewards from that obedience today (-:

Resting and Relying on God You RUN

Mark 4:38-40 (Amplified Bible)
38But He [Himself] was in the stern [of the boat], asleep on the [leather] cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, Master, do You not care that we are perishing?

39And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness).

40He said to them, Why are you so timid and fearful? How is it that you have no faith (no firmly relying trust)?

After a long day of ministering Jesus and the Disciples were now traveling to the other side and what do you think was awaiting them on the "other side? " A man with an unclean spirit who needed the power of GOD to set him free, a man who Jesus Himself later delivered and sent the man off preaching!!!
Life and ministry is a continual thing, it never stops or slows down so we have to be smart like Jesus and sometimes take breaks to get some rest. Jesus prayed early in the mornings for hours during His life to the Father, then He went out and ministered ALL DAY long in one way or another, knew when to "REST". With all that was going on around Him, all the heart cries for help, all the needs, all the people experiencing demonic situations and irritations yet in the midst.... JESUS RESTED. Jesus COULD rest because He always totally relied upon the Father. He knew that the Father was in control of EVERYTHING and that the Father already KNEW everything past, present, and future and had it all under control. Jesus trusted and relied on the Father's ability and position as Almighty GOD , to lead, control, handle, work out, and guide Him-- and that also included His rest. As you run YOUR RACE this year make sure you take time to rest. There will ALWAYS be needs and situations that will sometimes scream for your attention, but do yourself, your loved ones, and your ministry a great service and REST AS YOU RUN. I'm not saying step down , or resign from ministry but rather recognize that you are NOT the "Energizer Bunny" nor does GOD require that you must be. He requires that you rely fully on Him as you keep running and be sensitive to leading of His Spirit that will lead you to sometimes pull away and rest. Plan a day or as many hours of R&R between life and ministry that you possibly can, because if it was good for Jesus to do than....(-:

RUN!!! DON'T LOOK BACK Pt. 3

When you start out running and you are making progress feeling all good and just when you are turning the corner you fall down!!! Right there in the middle of running "your" race there was a hurdle placed there by the enemy that you didn't expect and BAM down you went. What happened you may be asking yourself?! You were prepared and feeling good now you lie on the ground holding yourself now bruised inside and out and now the adversary being who he isn't just satisfied with making you fall now he wants to really hit you hard, with thoughts straight from Hell itself. Oh yeah he's going for
"Mission Control"--YOUR MIND
He's bringing up every negative word you've ever heard or words you've ever spoken about yourself. Then you hear him laughing and telling you like Job's wife,"Just go ahead and blaspheme God and let go...but then the WORD OF GOD rises up in you and you begin to quote the Scriptures and you cry out for Jesus to help you get back up and HE COMES FOR YOU!!! He comes and picks you up and puts you right back in "your" race!!! Remember this Scripture,

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.They are brought down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright.
Save us, LORD! Let the King hear us when we call.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds,casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ,

Ok so you may be a little wobbly but it doesn't matter He got you up and you are back in the race and you're making progress much to the dismay of the enemy. You are running now knowing that as you run there will be hurdles, there will be tests, and trials but you KNOW NOW that if the enemy strikes again JESUS HAS GOT YOU and HIS WORD IN YOU WILL KEEP YOU and nothing that the enemy throws at you will EVER be able to stop you...KEEP RUNNING!!!

RUN!!! Don't Look Back! Pt 2

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:5-11

FLESH STINKETH!!!LOL! Seriously, and it is the biggest hindrance to our race!!! The devil is defeated, try as he may to rule and reign, frustrate or stop us he really can't...it is our flesh that proves to cause our own defeat. Flesh doesn't walk in faith!! Don't believe me? Let's look at just a few things that flesh does. It whines, moans, regrets, asks a million questions and needs an answer to every why that surfaces, it's never satisfied, wants to be coddled and it loves to rule and YUCKY YUCK!!!! I don't know about you, but I've had it with looking back,it's so draining and you lose ground when you do it, you lose momentum when you keep looking back, you give fear an opportunity to speak up and creep up on you too....bottom line "Looking Back Causes LOSSES WHEN RUNNING!!!" Why? Because then you get sucked back into what if's and why did they, why did I, and on and on and on! Say your kid accidentally burns the house down while you are at work when you come home what would be the point of jumping up and down screaming insults at your kid?!! What's done is done and your kid probably already feels like dirt right? You forgive your kid, recover what you can and rebuild.THIS YEAR make up in your mind that your flesh will not have the victory over you, you won't look back and it's all about rebuilding and walking in the Spirit. (-: RUN!!!!!!!

RUN!!! Don't Look Back! PT 1

HAPPY NEW YEAR friends!!!! Glad to be able to write for Prayer4every1.com again this year and God has been puring into me in many ways and I have much to share!!! Throughout the year I will speaking a lot about running, walking, standing, and waiting. CHRISTians always MOVING even while we wait for manifested promises our faith is active. Have you ever ran track? Do you remember what the coach taught? My coach taught us to never look back because looking back slows you down and it also takes your eyes of what's ahead. Now if you are the only one running that's not so bad right maybe you just want to look back to see how much ground you've covered no problem right? But if you're in a competition and you are in the lead, somebody hot on your trail could gain a major advantage if you look back long enough, or stumble or get scared at their progress.

Paul says to us in Philippians 3:12-14 (21st Century King James Version)

It is not as though I had already attained it, nor were already perfect; but I follow after, that I may apprehend that for which Christ Jesus also apprehended me.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended it, but this one thing I do: forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.


In 2011 and beyond RUN and DON"T LOOK BACK!!! RUN like your life depends it! Run like somebody else's life depends on it!!! God NEEDS His kids to get busy and stay busy for the Kingdom!!! God NEEDS us to manifest as His sons and daughters and stop looking back to our past or even the pasts of others and RUN!!! He wants us to get in His Word, His presence, and take His yoke and learn of HIM! You know all about you already don't you? Sure you do, so now take your eyes of you---what you've been through, what you desire, what you want, where you only want to go and do and find out what kind of race your Heavenly Father wants you to run in 2011!!! THIS YEAR will not be like any other----RUN SAINTS RUN!!!!
