Do Your Part Let Em In

Colossians 3:15 & 16 (21st Century King James Version)

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body, and be ye thankful.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

As we all celebrate Thanksgiving and prepare next month for Christmas, I want to encourage those who may be feeling a little down this year. Maybe you have to celebrate the Holydays alone this year.Maybe you have lost your job. Maybe your life has been turned upside down and right side up. I know life can be challenging, sometimes it's one storm after another, but I'm convinced God is the same mighty God that parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, fed the 5,000, saved us, and of course answers prayer.
Experience for yourself the benefits of applying the "Let" by letting God in those turbulent, challenging, or lonely areas of your life whether on your job, at home, in your marriage, wherever!!!
Know that God's power, comfort, and victory will be manifested as you believe, rest and "let" God in. It's like being given gifts that are just sitting on the table all wrapped up and beautiful, you won't be able to fully enjoy all that the giver intended for you if, you don't open them. The same principle can be applied here. The peace of God, The Word of God, and the Praise for God let it in and then pass it on. Tis the season...this is YOUR season (-:

Are you Sick? Tell Your Faults to a Friend.

Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. James 5:16

Confess your slip up to one another, your false steps, your ofenses, your sins that you may be healed and restored to a spiritual tone of mind and heart! WOW!! Look at that! Now we know that there are many ways to get healed from sickness. God of course, then God heals through medicine, rest etc.. here we have God saying to us through James that we are to confess to one another. Now we are not confessing in the sense of seeking forgiveness from man. NO. God is the only One who has the power and authority to forgive sins. This confession is speaking of accountability and then after hearing of our brothers or sisters offense praying for them that they may be healed and restored. I have to tell you I find strength in telling my sister in the LORD when I have jacked up after I have first gone to the LORD and asked for forgivness.

Realizing there are babies born into the Kingdom daily so this advice is for the babes- DO NOT TELL EVERYBODY YOUR BUSINESS. Everybody doesn't need to know and furthermore everybody is not mature enough to handle it and or keep it. Ask God to send you some mature friends that you can confide in and He will do it.
Now after you have shared your slip up(s) a true friend will encourage you and pray with you or for you. What's so beautiful about this is that you have another person to help you in that particular area of struggle through encouragement, the Word, and prayer.
God bless you richly as you experience the richness of this Scripture.

Torn

One time in church the preacher asked one night, "How many people want to go to Heaven?" Everyone put up their hands except one little boy. The preacher asked him, "Don't you want to go to Heaven?" The little boy answered, "I sure do, but I thought you were getting a load up for tonight! When I read that story by Dr.McGee I roared! Truly we all want to go to Heaven, but not right now!

Paul wrote for I'am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ which is far better: Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. Phil 23,24

WOW! Paul was desiring to go but wanted to stay for the people's sake. Have you ever felt like you were ready to GO!?! You don't have to tell it but I will. Sometimes I'm like, The Rapture happening today Papa would be nice. Life has a way of putting a tear in your eye on a regular basis sometimes, but we have work to do. I heard somebody say, "We are invincible, til we finish the work of God." I love that!!! We aren't going anywhere til our work is done! Hallelujah!!! To be with Christ...far better YES. I just plain long to be with Him, I long to be with Him more when everything is going just beautifully, realizing that no matter how good life can get it's going to be so much better in Heaven with Him forever. Now Paul experienced some crazy persecution, but I'm so glad that he stayed as long as he could for the church's sake, yes even for the world's sake. Keep it moving saints of God no matter how hard it gets because one day we shall behold Him face to face and we're going to see all those we've touched for Jesus and we will hear Him say, "Well done!!"
